AWPF (WiSe2022)

This course will go in-depth to allow students the opportunity to explore their own geographic, professional, and corporate identities and how they affect behaviour and communication across cultures.

It is helpful for anyone working with internationals, preparing to go abroad, and/ or returning from abroad.

Communication strategies and behavioral changes will be suggested to minimize friction and miscommunication when working with people who are inherently different than oneself.

Teaching methods include rote, experiential learning, case studies, anecdotes, and fun. There will be many opportunities to speak your highest level of English and get to know students from other faculties. Bi-cultural and international students are encouraged to attend.

The exam is a short presentation.
