IBL - Bachelor Logistics

This module provides a comprehensive introduction to the representation and support of key logistics business processes through modern ERP systems. After an overview of ERP fundamentals and an introduction to SAP solutions, students will gain hands-on experience with core processes in materials management, production, sales, and warehouse management.

The focus is on practical application within the SAP system. Through extensive exercises, students will learn to understand, analyze, and actively execute real-world business processes.

Contents:

• Introduction to ERP systems and SAP as a leading enterprise solution

• Representation of the logistics value chain within ERP

• Materials Management: procurement, inventory management, invoice verification

• Production: production planning, work orders, confirmations

• Sales: order processing, deliveries, invoicing

• Warehouse Management: stock handling, picking, goods receipt and issue

• Practical exercises in SAP covering all listed processes

Learning Outcomes / Competencies:
Students will

• be able to execute key logistics processes within the SAP system,

• analyze process flows and identify their interdependencies within the value chain,

• critically assess ERP-supported business processes.
